Quad Electronics were founded by Peter Walker in 1936. Quad have had an enviable reputation for producing quality hifi equipment, with many of their products becoming design classics within the audio industry. The design profile for Quad products has always been to produce simple to use, elegantly designed and long lasting audio equipment which ensures the music you hear has `The closet approach to the original sound` with no added distortion or character added.

Products including the ESL57 electrostatic loudspeaker in 1956, the Quad II power amplfier in 1953 and the 405 power amplifier in 1975 all produced an immediate effect on the audio industry at the time producing a very high level of musical performance, and these have led onto Quad`s latest products carrying on this tradition to this day.

UK DELIVERY AND INSTALL SERVICE	When you buy electronics from Fanthorpes HiFi, we can provide a nationwide delivery and installation service anywhere within mainland UK. Contact us for more information.
STANDARD NEXT WORKING DAY	All deliveries are dispatched on a next working day service if ordered before 1pm- subject to stock availability (excluding weekends).
FREE SATURDAY DELIVERY	Free Saturday delivery is available on selected products - enquire for details.
ORDER BEFORE 1PM	If you order before 1pm, your goods will be despatched the same day. Normally you can expect delivery the following day before 18.00pm.
ORDERING ON A FRIDAY	Orders placed before 1pm on a Friday will normally be delivered the following Monday. In the event of a Monday Bank Holiday, the delivery day should be Tuesday.
ORDERING OVER THE WEEKEND	Orders placed on a Saturday or Sunday will be despatched the following Monday. If you have a preferred delivery day, contact us and let us know.
