The Borresen C1 stand-mounted speaker redefines high-end performance, combining cutting-edge acoustic technologies with exquisite Danish design. Developed by Michael Børresen and Flemming Rasmussen, the C1 offers unrivalled clarity, detail, and soundstage precision for discerning audiophiles.
Advanced Driver Technology
At the core of the C1 is the Borresen DCC5 Neo bass/midrange driver. With a tri-layer membrane made of carbon fiber and aramid honeycomb, this driver delivers deep dynamics and exceptional clarity while minimizing distortion.
Ribbon Tweeter Excellence
The C1 uses Borresen’s RP94 ribbon planar tweeter, renowned for its ultra-lightweight construction (0.01 grams) and high efficiency (94 dB). This ensures fast transient response and incredible detail retrieval at high frequencies.
Innovative Crossover Design
Utilizing a serial crossover network, the C1 maintains phase coherence and delivers seamless integration between drivers. This topology enhances tonal accuracy and contributes to the speaker’s immersive presentation.
Resonance-Controlled Cabinet
The cabinet is constructed from dense hardwood laminates and clad with 1mm carbon fiber panels for added rigidity. Integrated Ansuz Darkz resonance control technology ensures low mechanical vibration and crystal-clear sound reproduction.
Custom Designed Stands
The matching C1 stands are crafted from non-magnetic composite material to avoid interference. Featuring Ansuz Darkz S2t resonance control devices, they elevate the speaker’s acoustic performance and visual appeal.
