Designed and crafted by the renowned Børresen engineering team—led by Michael Børresen and supported by Flemming Erik Rasmussen—the Axxess L1 speakers are a high-performance loudspeaker built on the principles of sonic purity, premium materials, and Scandinavian aesthetics. Innovative Membrane Design
The Axxess L1 features a unique in-house engineered membrane made from dual layers of spread carbon fiber with an aramid honeycomb core. This laminated structure ensures minimal resonance and exceptional rigidity, resulting in detailed midrange reproduction and tight, accurate bass.
Advanced Magnetic Motor System
Adapted from the Børresen X-series, the L1’s magnet system uses double copper caps on the pole rings to reduce inductance and increase magnetic flux. This innovation leads to a faster transient response, improved clarity across the frequency range, and reduced mechanical distortion.
Kapton Ribbon Tweeter
The Kapton-based ribbon tweeter in the Axxess L1 is 25 times lighter than standard dome tweeters and offers twice the surface area. This allows for incredibly fast, precise treble performance with minimal coloration and an expansive high-frequency range that brings out lifelike air and detail.
Natural-Based Composite Cabinet
Both the cabinet and stand are constructed from natural-based composite materials, chosen for their acoustic neutrality and rigidity. This reduces unwanted resonances and coloration, letting you experience music in its purest form.
