Exceptional Design Collaboration
The P-288 is the result of a collaboration between Gryphon Audio’s founder, Flemming Erik Rasmussen, and Aavik’s Michael Børresen. Together, they shaped a design that blends artistic elegance with state-of-the-art audio performance. The P-288 strikes the perfect balance of beauty and sonic authority.
Advanced Class D Amplification
Powered by Pascal Class D amplifier modules with ultra-fast UMAC switching modulation, the Aavik P-288 achieves lower output impedance, reduced filtering requirements, and superior control. This ensures a consistent, natural sound across the full frequency spectrum.
Resonant Mode Power Supply
The P-288 uses a power-factor-corrected resonant mode supply for clean, smooth power delivery. This intelligent supply adapts to musical demands, delivering high peak currents without distortion for exceptional speaker control and an ultra-low noise floor.
Active Square Tesla Coils
To suppress noise, the Aavik P-288 integrates active square Tesla coils into its circuitry. These coils cancel unwanted interference more effectively than passive designs, preserving an open and detailed soundstage.
Third-Generation Analog Dither Technology
Adapted from radar applications, Aavik’s third-generation analog dither technology enhances signal strength while lowering the noise floor. This innovation expands the soundstage and reveals the finest details in every recording.
Anti-Aerial Resonance Coil Technology
