Fanthorpes HiFi - The Week Ahead 25th - 30th June

Hey everyone, here is where we take a look at what we’ve got planned for next week. After returning from a busy weekend exhibiting at the North West Audio Show, we get straight back to it on Monday 25 ^th of July! We’ve got another week full of home installations and in store demos…..

The idea is to give you an insight into our working week here at Fanthorpes HiFi. With what demonstrations we are doing in store and in customers’ homes, services we offer, as well as give you an insight into the distances we travel over a working week.

Monday 25^th June

We hit the road to start the week off, we’ll be heading down to Norwich to install a pair of Monitor Audio Gold 300 floorstanders. This customer is already a fan of the Monitor Audio sound. He’s making the upgrade from the Monitor Audio Silver 300 speakers to the Gold 300. Once we’ve installed his new speakers, we will also be picking up his part exchange which consists of his Silver 300 speakers, a Roksan Kandy K2 integrated amplifier and a Denon PMA1600NE integrated amplifier.

Tuesday 26^th June

Our install which is lined up for Tuesday, sees us head on down to Axeminster in Devon to install a pair of preowned Twenty5 26 speakers.

We also have an in store demonstration booked in for Tuesday, this extensive demo sees us pit several products against one another, first up it’s the PMC Twenty 26 speakers versus the newer Twenty5 26 floorstanders. Then we have the battle of the Chord DACs with the new Qutest DAC up against the Chord Hugo TT. Lastly the customer has asked to listen to the Innuos Zen MK II against its bigger brother the Zenith MK II.

Wednesday 27^th June

Another day on the road awaits. Two installations are on the card for Wednesday, first up we are heading down to Basingstoke to set up the KEF Reference 3 speakers for a home audition. We’ll be setting the Reference 3’s on the customers existing Chord Electronics amplification.

After the home audition we are heading to Somerton in Somerset to install a pair of PMC Twenty5 23 speakers. We are also supplying the customer with some Chord Epic speaker cable to connect to his Cyrus amplification.

Thursday 28^th June

Due to the miles racked up on Wednesday we’ll be setting off back to Hull from a local hotel. If you are interested in any of the service we offer, and we pass by your way as we venture back to Hull, let us know and we’ll try our best to pop and see you.

Friday 29^th June

Another day, another demonstration. This time it’s the PMC Twenty 21 speakers against a pair of preowned Spendor SA1 standmounts. This customer is looking for some new speakers to partner his Naim electronics.

Saturday 30^th June

We have an in store demonstration of PMC Speakers booked in for Saturday. This customer is looking to upgrade his home cinema speakers. Looking to make the switch from his current ProAc surround sound set up. He has asked to hear the PMC Twenty 24 and Twenty 26 speakers as well as the matching Twenty Centre Speaker.
