Fanthorpes HiFi - The Week Ahead 21st - 26th January 2019

Hey everyone, we’ve got a busy week ahead of us as we head down to the south coast. Some big installs, plus a number of interesting demonstrations to look forward to…

The idea is to give you an insight into our working week here at Fanthorpes HiFi. With what demonstrations we are doing in store and in customers’ homes, services we offer, as well as give you an insight into the distances we travel over a working week.

Monday 21^st January

An early start to kick the week off, on Monday our final destination is Epsom to install an Innuos Zenith Statement for a good customer of ours. He already owns PMC Fact 12, Chord Electronics CPA3000, SPM 1400 Mono power amps, Chord DAVE and Blu MK2 CD Transport. All this kit is connected using Chord Signature Reference cables. The Innuos Statement will finish off the digital side to his system, with us taking a Zenith SE in part exchange.

On our way down to Epsom we will be stopping off in Spalding to install a Roksan Caspian M2 Amplifier and matching Caspian CD Player alongside a pair of PMC Twenty5 23 speakers.

Tuesday 22^nd January

We’ll be setting off from a local hotel on Tuesday but before we head off back to Hull we’ve got a few more installs to take care off. We’re heading further south to Worthing to set up a Project Xtension 9 turntable and a pair of Spendor D9 speakers, once the turntable and speakers are set up we are taking a pair of KEF R700 and Rega RP3 turntable in part exchange.

After Tuesdays first install we are stopping off in Basingstoke to install a Bryston BDP3 Digital Player before heading back up north to Hull.

Wednesday 23rd January

A ‘local’ install is booked in for Wednesday, we are heading over to Bradford for a superb CD Player install, this customer is trading in their PS Audio Direct Stream Junior for a Luxman D-08U CD Player. A cd upgrade we’re sure they’ll be thrilled with.

Plus, in the afternoon we’ve got the chaps from Arcam popping in to pay us a visit, We’ll make sure the we have a mug of the finest Yorkshire tea ready! It’s always great to see members of the industry pop in, it allows us to turn our focus to a particular brand serving as a nice refresher course and to possibly learn about any new products on the horizon.

Thursday 24th January

We have two in-store demonstrations booked in for Thursday, in the morning it is a demonstration of the diminutive and versatile PS Audio Sprout amp that will be used alongside the Innuos Zen Mini MK3 and Project 1 Xpression Carbon Turntable. We will also be using the Monitor Audio Gold 50 stand mounts.

In the afternoon we have a demonstration of the Sugden A21 signature amplifier alongside the Spendor A2 speakers.

Friday 25th January

We have another in store demonstration booked in for Friday, this customer is interested in a new pair of speakers and is wanting to demo the PMC Twenty5 23 speakers, Neat Motive SX1 and Dali Rubicon 5 speakers. We’ll have these speakers set up in our demo room alongside the Musical Fidelity M6Si amplifier, Chord Hugo TT2 DAC and Innuos Zenith MK2 server.

Saturday 26^th January

A free date in our calendar for now! If this fills up at a later date, we’ll update the post and let you know. Alternatively, if you want to take advantage of the services we offer on Saturday 26 ^th drop us an email or give us a call and we’ll try our best to make it happen.
