Fanthorpes HiFi - The Week Ahead 11th February - 16th February 2019

Hey everyone, we’re flying through February, with another fun week to look forward to. In store demos along with trips to the south coast and North West….

The idea is to give you an insight into our working week here at Fanthorpes HiFi. With what demonstrations we are doing in store and in customers’ homes, services we offer, as well as give you an insight into the distances we travel over a working week.

Monday 11th February

We have an early start to the week as we head on down to St Leonards-on-sea to install a turntable. This customer has purchased the Luxman PD-171A with and SME Series V Tonearm and Ortofon Cadenza Black cartridge. Once his new deck is all set up, we are taking his old Clear Audio Reference Turntable and Basis Vector 2 tonearm in part exchange.

Tuesday 12th February

We have a chock a block Tuesday to look forward to! We’ll have an instore demo booked in of the Cyrus 82 DAC QX and CD Transport alongside a selection of speakers including the new KEF R3 Standmounts as well as PMC Twenty 22.

While this is going on in store our install team are heading out for two installations, first up is a Project 2Xperience SB Turntable and Ortofon Quintet Bronze cartridge install in Sutton Coldfield with us taking a Chord Hugo 2 in part exchange. Then its onto Birmingham to set up a pair of KEF Reference 3 floorstanders.

Wednesday 13th February

We have a midweek trip booked in over in Liverpool for a home audition of some Bryston amplification. This customer currently owns the Trilogy 909 Pre & 990 power amps but is interested in upgrading to the Bryston BP26 Pre amplifier and 4B3 Power. This is an amplifier shoot out we are really looking forward to.

That’s not all we have to look forward to on Wednesday though, as we are also heading over to Blackpool to install a pair of PMC Fact 12 speakers, with this customer trading in their pair of PMC GB1i, this is an upgrade we are sure they will love. We are also taking across a run of Chord Signature Speaker cable for the customer to try out.

Thursday 14th February

A local install is on the card for Thursday, as we travel up the east coast to install some Quad electronics and speakers. After visting us for a demo a few weeks ago, this customer opted to purchase the Quad Artera Play+ CD Pre and matching Artera stereo power amplifier as well as the impressive Quad Z3 Floorstanding speakers.

Friday 15^th February

We are heading back across to Liverpool for the second time this week, this time to install a pair of Monitor Audio PL300II Speakers. We will also be taking a pair of Usher Mini 2 speakers in part exchange.

Saturday 16^th February

A free date in out calendar for now! If this fills up at a later date, we’ll update the post and let you know. Alternatively, if you want to take advantage of the services, we offer on Saturday 16 ^th drop us an email or give us a call and we’ll try our best to make it happen.
